The finest in handcrafted leather upholstery, each piece in this vintage English club series is finished on the frame, with seven stages of staining, sealing, and buffing providing authentic distressing. Sofas take 14 hours in the finishing, chairs 8 hours. Many frames feature individually tacked nail heads, antiqued with linseed oil and talc.

The leather used in this collection is a top-grain

leather that has been buffed and sanded to give it its

signature distressed look. The frames are made from

birch wood and all of the cushions are stuffed with

down.

CONSTRUCTION

This Vintage Leather Collection is constructed with frames made from birch wood. Each cushion is stuffed with

either an all-natural down or a high-density foam that is wrapped in Dacron. The cushions and frames are then

covered in a top-grain leather that has been tanned and aniline-dyed. Once each piece is entirely assembled,

it undergoes an eight-stage distressing process of staining, waxing, and buffing that can take up to 14 days for

each sofa. For the final touches, brass studs are individually hammered into place by hand and then antiqued

with powder, stain, and linseed oil.
