The Marlow collection is a unique blend of recycled aluminum tables and accessories, many of the pieces are designed for indoor and outdoor use. Aluminum is one of the most plentiful natural resources in the world. That factor combined with its light weight, ease of working, and resistance to corrosion, have put it into extremely wide use. The tables and accessories in this collection are made through a process known as Sand Casting. During this process, recycled molten aluminum is poured into a unique fine-grained sand mold that has been made for each individual piece. After sitting in the mold to cool and harden for 3-4 hours, the pieces are taken out and assembled. To finish they are then sanded and buffed, both manually and with a machine, to create a shiny mirror-like finish. To smooth away scratches in the Marlow Collection, it is recommended to use a car buffing paste and apply in a circular motion. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could scratch the surface.
